Hi Guys! Welcome to Home Couture Times. Home Couture Times is something I just thought of recently (like 2 days ago). I was looking for a way to connect with so many of you who shop with us and I know people usually connect via Instagram and all of that but I feel you can’t connect with everyone just on Instagram so I suddenly thought that I can started writing to y’all about what all we do here at Home Couture & everything in general related to the home and styling products.
So to start with the basics, I don’t think I have introduced myself before but if you go on our Instagram there are many videos of me even though I can not act AT ALL so let me start with a small introduction, My name is Nitya, Nitya Khanna and I started Home Couture in 2024. It has been a very difficult however a very beautiful journey till now. I have slowly to date shipped more than 500+ orders and compared to others it is a small number, however I am grateful to all the people that connect with my product and find it unique. They place orders more than 1 or 2 times so I feel all the effort we put in quality is appreciated by our customer.
Early on in career, I loved stone and I love designing products using stone. I felt stone was experiential, when the final piece came in your hands it made you connect and it also gave the ultimate luxury experience so if you see my store majority of my items are in stone, I try to design something in another material and then I come back to using stone again.
But stone is a great material, not only is it easy for us to carve it but it is also environmentally friendly, it creates little to no pollution and the overall product is just great. Sometimes, people at exhibitions tell me it is heavy which I do agree and I am trying to be more mindful about creating products that are light and easy to carry moving forward so this time for Diwali we are also using terracotta.
Recently, I launched my IRA collection in May which so many people loved. They loved the Chriystale coaster which I purposely made multi-purpose. Since I work with stone which lasts forever, I try and add value to my products so that they can be used in so many ways and our clients don’t have to throw them.
Now we are gearing up for Diwali, for which our theme is Flora and Fauna. I kind of struggled with this collection because I wasn’t able to create the right balance in the product but after months, we have found another unique concept and I cant wait to launch it.
